Chuckle. Publish that today and the misandrists
heads would explode. Normal women would just
laugh at it.
When I first moved to Nevada, one of the local radio
stations read an article from one of the pioneer
newspapers about how you must appreciate your wife
if she was a "quiet woman".
I remember a famous lady giving advice to ladies, in some women magazine
or radio program, that decades later was found to be a man.

Perhaps I missed it, but afaict, they didn't include that important fact
in the wikip article. It explains a lot.
«Desde los inicios del programa las respuestas a las consultas (unas
siete en cada emisión diaria) las redactaba un equipo de guionistas,
labor que quedó asignada en exclusiva al periodista Juan Soto Viñolo
desde 1966.» (‘From the beginning of the programme, the answers to the
queries (about seven in each daily broadcast) were written by a team of
scriptwriters, a task that was assigned exclusively to the journalist
Juan Soto Viñolo since 1966’.)
That's a man's name, posing as Elena Francis, a woman's name.
I remember hearing her in the radio, giving answers to questions.
Everybody thought a woman was replying, but in fact, it was a man
writing the answers. Very much conservative and anti feminist. Every
body thought it was a woman giving advice.
