No, dummy, it's for the cafeteria. Always having a waffle alternative
adds to the culmination of the setting. Some days I can't be fucked to
eat a breaded gristle fat pork chop or the third cheeseburger meal of

A couple of times a year my boss and a few other people who work in our
office building will walk next door to the Waffle House to have
breakfast for lunch. None of us ever orders a waffle. Bacon, eggs &
crispy shredded hash browns are usually the order all around. The last
time we went I changed it up. I ordered a breakfast sandwich:
Scrambled eggs with bacon & cheese on buttered, griddled Texas toast. :)

They don't exist here. We used to have Smitty's Pancake House here.
Apparently the chain still exists but there are few outlets. That is
where I first realized that pancake specialty restaurants make the worst
pancakes. Since they usually do waffles as well I assumed the waffles
would be equally bad. The last time I had pancakes in an independent
pancake house they too were awful.

waffles that are leavened with yeast. They are good. I've gonna have to
make me some. These aren't waffles, these are hash browns.

I realize they woked up and changed the name but to tell the truth I had
not noticed if they even sold that stuff any more because I was so
uninterested in buying pancake mix I never used to look to see what was
available. However, I have fond memories of it as a kid. Even though we
had home made pancakes and waffles with Old Tyme syrup we used to get
Aunt Jemima pancakes and syrup at the Canadian National Exhibition in
Toronto. There was the Pure Foods Building where all sorts of food
producers were flogging samples. As kids we could go there for the day
and get enough food samples that we did not need to take or buy a lunch.
Aunt Jemimas was one of our favourites.

I think that mine was put up sometime 2003-2005, and the photo of me
was taken in 1997. It's easy to believe that she also used a younger

done to her, you can bet your ass that there are Gullah men who'd love
to bed a natural blonde. Well, at least a *used to be* blonde. "The
old gray mare, she ain't what she used to be," twenty some years ago,
