Anything spectacular happening in your kitchen this evening?

Here, tonight's fare will be a NY strip, scrubbed, cubed,
and roasted garlic potatoes. Black cherry Jell-O will be
the dessert later in the evening.

Not really, just reprimanding poor Carol for failing to trim her posts back.

After that a nice Taco with Jilldo.

Nothing says tacos like yeller squash, right?

That will be a full-time job.

Diced taters, mixed with chopped broccoli and onions, with Eyetalian
dressing and parmesan to garnish...

Chicken and noodles. When I find whole chickens for less than five
bucks, I buy them. This one was $4.66 and didn't have any of the secret
offal inside (neck, gizzard, liver, heart). Score one for me!
There's nothing to freeze till Friday, when the trashman comes, except the
whole, picked-clean, skeleton.
The entire ingredient list is chicken, water, onion, celery, salt, dried
parsley and wide egg noodles from a bag. Top that, Campbells!

That's smart because then you can be sure it's a maximally tortured
factory chicken. A Frankenchicken, so to speak. Go, Leo!

Don't they just quickly chop off their heads?? That would
be quick and no torture. I'd find it hard to believe they'd
hire an army of chicken neck wringers to dispatch them.

How do you think their life was before their heads got chopped off?
English TV personality Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall once had a look
inside one of those chicken factories and came out crying. And he's
not even gay!

Hugh is a bit of a rural wag, but he also serves MEAT at his
restaurants, you faux vegan clownshow!

A classic River Cottage dish where Hugh uses up some tasty treats from
the butcher.
