Thanks a lot Bryan. Now I'm hungry.
Pan fried chicken is the best way to go for sure. It's been way too long
for me.

The chicken does look good, as long as he doesn't cook it too hot and fast.

Great find!  :)
Bottom round roast is a tough cut of meat, marked down from almost $21
to $9, was likely about to be thrown away.

Will require prolonged cooking time unless you are going to
slice it verrry thin for sandwiches. Or you can slice it a
bit thicker and pound it to make it tender for chicken fried
or country fried steak. It will make great jerky, too.

Yep, bottom round roast is a tough cut of meat. Given the price
reduction I hope he's going to cook it soon. Any roast marked down from
$20.97 to $9 has to be right on the borderline.

Sell by date is today.

Meat most always lasts a few days longer to a week.

That roast does not need YOUR bullying, bitch.

Got it?

Good.

It looks pretty fresh in the picture. If he has no immediate
plans for it, he can freeze it for another day.

The supermarket where I bought it is on the pricey side, but they
sometimes mark down meat more than 50%. I was perfectly fresh. Here it
is this morning. I had a few slices for breakfast.

I roasted it at 170F.

It does look fresh but the price reduction is rather steep. You know
there are chemicals that can make beef still look fresh.

Right...they must have treated it with chemicals before the
shrink-wrapped it knowing it would not sell in time...

You are a total moron.

That was bread machine bread - you can tell by the marks left by the
impeller. The sandwich also had wasabi-mayo on it. It's the green stuff.

If it bothers you, use dough mode and shape by hand (or use a pull man
loaf container for bread) and bake. The hole never bothered me much
but I hand form it now.
