Ask your Butler!
Ah, is the butler also an illegal immigrant?

Choose the lowest setting your dryer will go. You
want to defrost it, not start cooking it. You might
consider wrapping the bird in a blanket/quilt as the
thumping is quite loud. Think tennis shoes in the
dryer and how loud they are, a frozen turkey will be
MUCH Louder.

That's a well thawed out approach.

Depends on how much time you have available.

Remember, water is denser than air. You might have better luck
defrosting your turkey in the clothes washer.

it wouldn't be as tenderized then. all the bouncing around in
the dryer will soften it up.

Good for scaling fish too, just don't leave them
in there too long.

For extra flavour add a "Bounce" sheet!

Then you can skip the par boiling.

I'm too late to answer this, but I think that your towel warmer would
have defrosted the bird for you. Maybe next year ;)

Silly! You expect him to defrost a turkey on a heated towel rack?
Better would be the heated seat in his car, set to LOW. ;) Put plenty
of towels on the seat, though.

I think her Majesty weighs at least 100 pounds. Pretty hefty for an
elderly waif.
