I made a small pot of broccoli cheese soup yesterday so I'll be having a
bowl of that for lunch today. Accompanied by a toasted buttered
sourdough roll.

For dinner tonight I've got some chicken cutlets. What I have in mind
is to dredge them in seasoned flour, egg wash, then coat them in sesame
seeds; let set then pan fry them in a little corn oil until golden
brown. I'll make some wild rice & steamed asparagus to go with it.
There will be leftovers to take to work for lunch tomorrow.

Anyone have any Sunday lunch or supper/dinner plans?

Goodness, you're on the ball early today with your
Sunday meal planned and almost ready to go!!

I've been toying with the idea of garlic parmesan
chicken in the slow cooker, but can't seem to get
myself motivated to start this cooking as it will
take several hours as my chicken is frozen.

Well hey, I've been snowed in most of the last week although everything
has finally melted. I've got time. :)

Plans change. The chicken cutlets thawed but now I don't feel like
cooking. They're back in the fridge. I'll probably just have scrambled
eggs with a slice of toast for dinner.

Brunch is about to be served. It will be some back bacon, side bacon and
scrambled eggs with spinach and hot sauce. After brunch we head into
the city for a concert to hear some Mozart. We will be having a nice
Porterhouse steak for dinner.

Congrats, sounds like a great time - except for the Mozart part, of
course.

Something simple out of the freezer.

At 4:30 I'll drop my granddaughter off at work and in the parking lot
will be the Big Red Bus. I have a 4:30 appointment for blood donation.
They always give you something, today it is a certificate for an
appetizer at Chili's but I won't use it today. You should not drink
alcohol after donating so why go if I have to pass on a Margarita?

Lunch was vegetable soup. Dinner will be salad with grilled
salmon on it and lemon vinaigrette.

After watching this video, I mixed up the best chicken seasoning I've
ever made. All of the other copycats I've tried were nothing like what
I recalled from the 1960s. First ingredient, other than S&P, summer
savory, which I've used as the primary seasoning for chicken gravy for
years.

Nothing special. Last of the soup. Don polished off the light rye
bread with his.

We had a nice chili! It was with red and black beans. Sadly the selection
of smoked chilis is non-existent here, so I had to make do with what ever
sad excuse for chili is available here in eastern europe.

Still, it came out pretty good!

After that I watched some cowboy Kent to see how the pros do it! Apart
from the chilis, I'm pretty close actually.

We had Michael Angelo's Lasagna with off-brand Texas Toast.
Tonight will be a repeat of last night.
Oh, I had to shovel snow off my driveway yesterday. I should have kept
my mouth shut last week. Jinxed it!

I managed not to have to shovel my parking area after last week's snow.
It was close but I didn't bother. It for packed down or
melted/sublimated. This afternoon it got really windy and there was
snow drifting across the roads. That was odd considering there wasn't
really loose snow to drift.
