This morning we made meatballs according to the recipe I posted
a couple of weeks ago. They just came out of the oven, and I'm
sitting down to three meatballs, unadorned by tomato sauce.

This was a double batch. Next time we'll make a single batch
and fry them. My husband was disappointed in the crust.

Is that how you maintain your svelte 250 pound frame, Cindy?

Maybe we can get Mummychunk to look it up to cut and paste it for us.

I always figured that the were a standard combination, like love and
marriage or a horse and carriage.

Mine turn out well in the oven. I have not had good luck frying them.

I must have missed that recipe post. Sorry to hear he was disappointed
with the crust but did you like them?

Ah, I posted a link to the recipe, not the recipe itself:

I thought they were fine.

Nice, thanks. Maybe your husband will prefer them pan fried like Ina
did. Any reason to forgo the tomato sauce?

No particular reason. I just like it that way, and it saved a step.
All I had to do was take them off the sheet tray, put them on a plate,
and dig in.

My husband came in from the workshop about an hour later and had his
with sauce and spaghetti.

The crust not crispy enough or too crispy?
