Good idea if you have CC debt. As we get older, not much we really need
anyway.

on vacation to Mexico, and heck, maybe even Canada. We also cancelled
our WaPo subscription. We still have the NY Times, and WalMart+, and
are rejoining Costco. The little Italian grocery raised their price too
high on quarts of 40% cream, and Costco is a lot cheaper now. Plus,
there are those $5 chickens, and the lines at the gas pumps move way
faster than those at Sam's. The Costco is on our way to our favorite
taqueria, so that'll tempt us to eat there more often.

I sometimes by gas at Costco if I am there and low on gas. I knew a
couple who had a pickup truck and were thrilled when a new Costco with a
gas bar opened 30 miles away. They used to drive there to fill their
pickup truck. She had worked as a book keeper and he had owned a couple
businesses. I was boggled that they figured it was worth driving 60
miles there and back to save a little money per gallon when it was
costing them 4 gallons of gas to get it.

I don't think it's much of a happening place, like Ciudad de Mexico, but
it's very clean and safe. I'm not a fan of the local cuisine, but
there's places that have other regional and international food.

I'm sure if you remove all black people, drug dealers, and not going to
bad places in St. Louis, the figure drops dramatically.

We have a Sams Membership, but will probably let it lapse in February.
We don't get a lot there, and even with the fuel discount, my Ohio fuel
is still cheaper than heavily taxed Pennsylvania fuel at Sams Club.
Used to buy their bulk house brand toilet tissue, but the rolls are
thinner and smaller now.

I will miss their pizza pies. When we go, the first thing is everyone
sits down to a huge hot $8.98 pepperoni pizza in their cafeteria area,
then we shop. You save money on food when you aren't hungry. ;)

machine. It looks like just another half-assed, click-bait article from
MSN.

Good idea if you have CC debt.  As we get older, not much we really need

That's what I thought, too. But I've placed 190 orders on Amazon with a
combined retail price tag of almost $8,000 in just the last 2.5 months.
There's all sorts of shit you didn't realize you "needed" [ahem,
"wanted"] when Amazon lets you order up to 3 items or $300 (whichever
comes first) worth of Amazon stuff EVERY 24 HOURS. And come May it will
go up to 8 items/day with NO dollar limit.

The only catch (for me) is that I just have to review 60%-90% of those
items. I think I've paid for 2 items on this list (the two shop vices -
about $60), the rest were the courtesy of Amazon or third-party sellers.
Oh, And the cookies and chefboyardee, so I could get "free shipping" -
Which really pissed me off. Amazon is here EVERY FUCKING DAY and they
even mixed in my paid stuff with the free shit they were already sending
me anyway. So why should I have to pay for shipping?!!?? Sheesh! ;-)


Any other "Viners" here by chance? I kinda doubt that since its such an
exclusive program. We don't even know the criteria that got us chosen,
but you can bet it was Amazon A.I. There are NO HUMANS running this
program it's all automated. They set it up, pressed The Button, washed
their hands of the project, and moved on.

it. I am still feeding the economy, unlike these "fadsters" with their
"no buy" bullshit - if they even exist.

You know .... I could have written $300 worth of reviews in the time I

"reinforcement" my RFC vows.

Good idea if you have CC debt.  As we get older, not much we really need
anyway.

That's what I thought, too. But I've placed 190 orders on Amazon with a
combined retail price tag of almost $8,000 in just the last 2.5 months.
There's all sorts of shit you didn't realize you "needed" [ahem,
"wanted"] when Amazon lets you order up to 3 items or $300 (whichever
comes first) worth of Amazon stuff EVERY 24 HOURS. And come May it will
go up to 8 items/day with NO dollar limit.

?? We use Amazon often, free delivery on Prime saves
far more than Prime costs.

There's no limit to the number or value of daily orders.
