Most countries do not have citizenship by birthright. Most countries
in North and South America do. About two dozen countries have a
restricted citizenship by birth. Most of the rest of the world does
not. This has led to what a lot of people would think of as abuse by
young people who come to a country, often illegally, and then having
children here. When the authorities catch up with them for being here
illegally they fight deportation by claiming that they have to stay
and look after their children who are citizens.
Birth tourism is a thing. People do come here and have their children
born here. They may or may try to stay or they can go back home with
their children, but when the kids get old enough they come back to
work here, which they can do because of their citizenship and then
sponsor the parents.
I can understand why a lot of people see it as a problem.

"Party" takes control of the marionette strings and operates the country.
It's the same mechanism in communist controlled countries ... The party does
all stuff needed til the next great leader is appointed or elected.
Historically, this occurred several times, just in recent history. Reagan
went demented, and nobody knew for years. Biden went demented shortly after
elected. Trump's already at the same state of brainfuck.
It's nothing new. Parties prefer having a cadaver strung as a puppet to lead
the country. Makes it easier for the "party" to achieve their goals.

Shush! Dementia is a thing of the past. In my country, they treat it by
threatening it with the wrath of Donald Trump!!! Then it meekly goes away
and stops bothering people! =D

salute. gm has a disassociation disorder so he zones out when he gets
into a certain mental state in which case, nothing has to do with
nothing.

Leaving the WHO, Paris climate b.s. this just gets better and better! I'm
waiting for Trump to leave the UN as well. This would be excellent! The UN
is just a social club existing on tax payers money. The only thing they
have achieved is massive waste of money, and of course, enriching

The general opinion on Dutch TV was that Musk must have been on
something, amphetamines maybe, because he acted like a mental patient.
Interestingly, I also saw a headline on Australian TV that Trump
pardoned a drugs criminal.

It's going according to expectations there :)
