A crazy coincidence

In a recent thread, Joan had said that her crockpot had died, and wondered whether she should replace it, or just rely on her Ninja multicooker. I suggested that she buy an Emeril brand multicooker, which is just a rebranded Power Quick Pot. I have a Power Quick Pot that I have used many times, and you can buy them for only ~$80. So today I go into work and notice a Ninja marked down to 70% off. I jumped on that, so now I can have two units going
at once.

Now I need to reorganize the kitchen so I can fit this monster.

Both the Power Quick Pot and the Ninja Foodi are space hoggers, but oh so handy!
I think you'll be just as pleased with the Ninja as you are with your Power Quick plus
it doubles as an air fryer even if you think there's no such thing as air frying.

I'm assuming it came with a recipe/tips book. Check out the chicken pot pie* sometime.
The great thing about the Ninja, the pie can be cooked in it from the start to the finish.
Oven is not needed to brown the crust as the 'crisping' lid does that, too.

*The pie can be made with the vegetables of your choice, of course.

and they tasted awful.

I had the foodi. I gave it away for free before I could appreciate it.
The main lid opened from right to left. That did not work in my space.
I hear really good things about it.

Yes, that can be a drawback, but you've just got to find a convenient spot
to use it and ignore the lid.

Well, if you try their chicken pot pie recipe, you're in for a treat and absolutely
does not taste like pot brownies.

Grandma always turned up her nose if I mentioned "chicken pot pie", and
the Banquet frozen ones are hardly edible... but home made pot pies
really hit the spot (no Mary Jane for me, please).

That does look like a deal, but I'm still too cheap to buy it, even at
that price. My oven does a fine job on pot pies.
