From frozen, thawed, patted dry and seasoned with S&P. Pan seared in
melted butter with just a little bit of corn oil in a medium-hot skillet
until golden outside but only just opaque inside.

I'll be steaming some broccoli florets to go with them. And heating up
a sourdough roll, split then spread liberally with butter.

Anything cooking at your house this Tuesday night?

We had meatloaf. It turned out nicely. Served with home fries and
steamed green beans.

Last night I had the scallops. I put a little garlic on them but
otherwise same as you made them

Tonight, I showcased my microwave heating skills. My DIL sent over some
egg noodles and some turkey stuff to put on top of them. Not sure what
you'd call it, most of the ingredients would be the same as turkey soup,
but without the broth. It was OK, I have enough for another night but
will add some more seasonings.

Good description. I'll dress it up when I have the rest tomorrow.

And a chemically laden soft drink perhaps?

A glass of milk.

I thought about a diet soft drink but the moo juice
sounded better to me. And TWO bananas!! 😲

Sounds like the usual royal meal your Majesty!

I'm just scrounging leftovers and cleaning out the fridge. Some grits, a
fish sandwich ... stuff like that.

PS: Please don't say 'liberally'. You'll trigger Leo.

I pounded some slices of pork loin _very_ thin, then spread them with a
mixture of cream cheese (I was out of goat cheese), home-made
breadcrumbs, onions, garlic, celery, mushrooms, walnuts, salt, black,
red, and white pepper, lemon zest, a bit of powdered coriander seed, and
a couple of eggs. Rolled up, dusted with seasoned flour, then fried in a
little avocado oil.
Served with Chinese-style egg noodles and skinny green beans.

My wife made Sapporo ramen with scallions, radishes and an egg dumped
in. She said it was good.
I will have <mumble> and ham wraps, later.

no.

we were busy all day tuesday baking and cooking other things
and today was much the same along with dealing with the furnace
being replaced and someone coming over to visit. it all worked
out ok in the end, but i was tired and needed a nap.

several hundred cookies, four peanut butter pies, brownie
muffins and blueberry muffins, grilled cheese sandwiches and
grilled ham and cheese sandwiches (of which one i made too
dark by accident, but in my defense i was interrupted way too
many times and i was happy enough with it to eat it for lunch
a bit later).

the microwave is over the oven, the oven was being used for
baking blueberry muffins, but it was also being used for heating
the house and then i was cooking on the coils for making the
grilled items...

i was also playing musical cars/vans with the HVAC people
removing the old furnace and bringing in the new one and then
Mom needing to go out for an appointment and coming back plus
the HVAC owner needing to run out for some filters and ...

alltogether a much more hectic day than i really enjoy but
we got through it.

this evening there wasn't a planned meal at all so i was
happy with a few cookies, a piece of good chocolate and
some roasted peanuts, and a few prunes just to make sure i
had something that had more fiber.
