Yep, noticed Ghe Boy has morphed again. Maybe we should take pity on
his need for attention at all costs.
I'm glad you make a distinction between Ghe Boy (Casa Boner) and me.
Much appreciated.

I was wondering who the heck "Arnie" was... done. It's amusing that the
forger is so fast to start posing more "Ghe" as soon as bruce "evolves"
(pretty sad that someone wastes that much time to torment one person
however). Switching names is such a pointless endeavor.

Finally someone understands that I'm the victim, not the perp. Of
course my lovely haters know that too. They just pretend they think
all the Bruces are perps :)

Judged 'Guilty' by a jury of peers.

A long time ago I predicted the end of "Bruce". I was correct.

I usually despise froggers but this one has done such a good job of
being an asshole. It is hard to tell if the asshole posting is the real
Bruce or the frogger Bruce, if the frogger is an asshole or if he is
just doing a good job of mimicking Bruce.

Victim, sure... but clearly, Bruce has pissed someone off enough to blow
up all of those spam posts. When someone who I don't care to read wants
to switch names to attempt to become visible again, taking away my
choice to ignore them, that makes me all the more determined to ignore them.

You are the victim. You brought it on yourself but you choose not to
see the reason why. Most of your posts are just snarky comments about
others. Easy to just KF all the Bruces and the froggers got their wish.

What's so terrible about snarky comments? And I don't do it to
everybody. There are quite a few people I never make snarky comments
to. You have to deserve it first!

Kootchie's posts are the easiest to go through, rarely more than a
dozen words, and often entertaining in a morbid way.
Your posts are rarely informative, never amusing, long and boring. If
you never posted I can't imagine anyone would miss you. I rarely read
your posts.

Some of John's posts are amusing, MANY are disgusting. When do I make
long posts? Have you read your own posts? Some of yours take up the
*entire* page when you go on a rant.

If my posts aren't ever amusing to you, you must have a poor sense of
humor. Also, you should work on using paragraphs in your thousand word
block of text posts.

My theory is that when you are constantly changing your user name to get
past the filters you know you are in you are throwing in the towel and
admitting to yourself that you are a complete fucking loser.

No, sorry... all I meant was it's easy to identify a forger from the
headers. I wouldn't be able to identify the real person behind a well
forged post.

No, sorry... all I meant was it's easy to identify a forger from the
headers. I wouldn't be able to identify the real person behind a well
forged post.
There's one troll (my money's on Greg) who has the same headers as me.
But it was heyjoe who said "*IF* you're so inclined, it's simple to ID
the forgers." So I asked him to ID them, since he says it's simple.
I'm not expecting an answer.

Real Bruce is not trying to evade killfiles, he's trying to stay one
step ahead of his personal frogger trollie.
Yes. Do you think my haters know that too and just like to pretend
otherwise? Or are you smarter than them?

Killfiles are from the age of limited bandwidth. Now, one can just
not open posts.

Even if not on dial-up, it's still a nice thing to get rid of the
garbage posts, and have less stuff to sort through. I'd be here almost
3 hours a day if I read all messages, and responded to many.

I never use my killfile, it'd just becomes something I'd need to
remember to update. I find it easier to remember the few posters
whose posts I don't read, in fact when I bring in a batch of posts the
first thing I do is delete their posts and move right along. And I
have a system for eliminating wasting time, when I look at a thread
anyone who posts more than two posts in a row I delete... some posters
make 9-10 posts in a row, those are easy to spot and I delete them all
at once.
And then there are those posters who I should delete unread but since
they are entertaining in a morbid sort of way and are one liners I
read them, like Kootchie, who never types much. Some posters can type
thousands of words and say nothing, those I know to delete after the
first 3 lines.
To me Newsgroup posts are either informative or amusing, if not I
delete those unread. I generally don't read recipes because I don't
cook by recipes, I use no recipe to cook beef stew for instance, that
I cook pretty much by what's in my fridge. Natcherally if I don't
have any potatoes, carrots onions and beef scratch beef stew, and
dinner can easily become pork chops, I always stock up on pork chops,
and they defrost quickly. And then there's always eggs. I rarely buy
chicken, sometimes skinless boneless chicken breasts for cutlets... or
it's far easier to pick up a rotisserie chicken from the local market,
all cooked and ready to eat for $5... goes well with fly lice or egg
noodles and a veggie, we always have bags of frozen mixed veggies.

I always read his posts. They are amazing as to the amount of
misinformation he can spew non stop in an authoritative type of rant
and then finish up with something totally off the wall usually about a
sexual reminiscence which probably never happened other than between
his ears. And most all of his posts are embellished replays.
Very good summary.

occasionally I learn something new.

Looks like Miss Bwuthie is trying to evade killfiles again, she is
now posting under an "Arnie" moniker...
Real Bruce is not trying to evade killfiles, he's trying to stay one
step ahead of his personal frogger trollie.
I stopped opening all Bruce posts a while ago and now I don't open
Arnie posts.
Killfiles are from the age of limited bandwidth. Now, one can just
not open posts.
--Bryan
I thought you said that you don't make long messages? (this is
informative ;) )
I always read his posts. They are amazing as to the amount of
misinformation he can spew non stop in an authoritative type of rant and
then finish up with something totally off the wall usually about a
sexual reminiscence which probably never happened other than between his
ears. And most all of his posts are embellished replays.
Pretty sure he was the very first poster to usenet and RFC.
LOL
I read through Sheldon's rants also. I don't think that he intends them
to be amusing, but they typically are. Rarely informative, but
occasionally I learn something new.
Nonsense to the naysayers I say, us older rfc folk have always enjoyed Sheldon's posts...

And the lil' sexual fillips he adds are, for many of the gals here, pretty much the only sex they get...

That's my problem, more like 4 hours a day to read all and respond to
some. Today's new batch was 450 posts. I just finished reading, now will
respond to a few more.

I don't read every single word in every single post. It's easy to tell when
Sheldon's on a rant, read the first couple of sentences and skip over the
Munchausen-esque anecdotes.

I only read the responses to posts that have been made in the last 18-24
hours. It doesn't take long to sift through them.

Same here, 400 some messages. Almost half of them were "Dave smith". I
filtered by name, marked all read, and quickly flipped through them to
mark the real Dave Smith posts as "not read". That takes at least 15
minutes, but it brought the number down by at least 180, which makes the
group a lot more tolerable to read, rather than just skim in general.
